Liverpool Plan £28m Bid To Hijack Dortmund Transfer Deal

Liverpool may be beating the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Dortmund to the signing of young Rennes Ousmane Dembélé. This is despite reports claiming the Player is very close to signing for German Bundesliga’s Deputy Champions Borussia Dortmund. Reports claim Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing the 18-year-old youngster and has taken it upon himself to convince him to move to Anfield.

Klopp has reportedly made a personal call across to Ousmane Dembélé and as well as speak to the player’s agents and parents all in an attempt to convince him to move to Liverpool rather than to the other interested clubs.

Ousmane Dembélé has 12 goals to his name in the French league this season, he has become the first ever youngster to score 10 or more goals in the history of the French league. Which explains why there is so much interest in him despite this been just his first season.

British media outlet, the Guardian reckons Liverpool will try very hard to convince the player to come to England, Liverpool to be precise, and are ready to offer his club as much as £28 million which is same as the French club are demanding.

The paper went further to claim a chat with Jurgen Klopp over the phone has managed to confuse the player to consider the Liverpool offer despite he already having practically agreed to move to Dortmund initially. In fact some reports claim he has had a tour of Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park stadium and the German clubside’s training facilities in April.
